I score High enough for my GCT/ARI to be 120 , which qualified me for the Naval Academy , and ended up disqualifying myself with a Captain's Mast , dashing my hopes of being a Naval Officer , but it didn't matter , my security clearance as an officer would have unearthed the fact that I enlisted underage at 16.

We did however, engage the nursing services of a young woman once in a field hospital in Bosnia many years ago, she was Muslim but a civilian, who helped us more with interpretation difficulties than with any medical care since we were very well staffed with excellent nurse corps officers AND skilled corpsmen. But as to my original question for you, the only exception I found to this rule was in Tunisia where remarkable freedoms exist for women though a country steeped in Islam as well. I think it just goes to prove that there are very wide gaps in how middle east governments interpret the Koran and how they achieve democracy in spite of the many fundamentalist leanings which seek to control women and make them subservient to the men. Yep, the F4-E at SJAFB. I had the chance to switch to the 15s, but wanted to go to Nellis and work on the A-10s instead...but the AF had other plans for me and stuck me back in my original AFSC (915x0). They actually did me a favor, as I get paid a nice amount to teach sailors the computer application we used when i was AD.

I think the freedom to do so is pretty progressive, especially in a sport whose biggest championship has an all-white dress code.
